Rt Revd Toby Howath

January 29, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Toby Howath

Working with Yorkshire’s Muslim Communities

Christians working with Muslims (and vice versa) face particular joys and challenges, not least in our global and national context in which Muslims are often spoken of negatively in the press, on social media and by politicians. Reflecting on his experience in Bradford and more widely, Bishop Toby will share some biblical and other theological resources that he has picked up along the way, including ways in which these friendships and other engagements have enriched his own faith

Cost:  £6.00  including mid-morning refreshments (Covid 19 guidance allowing); students: £5; under 18s free. Fees payable preferably in advance by the online booking system Eventbrite or on the day by contactless card or cheque (to Harrogate School of Theology and Mission). Please note, that with the current Covid situation, we are not serving continental breakfast before the lecture, and have reduced the cost for this lecture to £6.

Zoom live-stream of lecture: £5 per person, bookable via Eventbrite.
