Prof. David Ford explores how theology is really about having a life-long conversation with God and drawing on the wisdom of prior conversations as recorded in the Scriptures. Those conversations involve the disciplines of listening as well as conversing, thinking as well as feeling (faith has its various moods!) and writing as well as reading. Through engaging in our own conversations with God, and learning from wider conversations about God, we can grow in what Prof. Ford calls ‘doing theology for God’s sake’.
